The STANLEY FATMAX FME790-XJ is a compact workstation for mitre saws with a load capacity of up to 185 kg. It lifts the saw to working height and adds support on both sides, so long material does not sag and a second pair of hands is not needed to hold it.

Universal quick-release brackets

The manufacturer's pack includes two universal quick-release brackets. They are bolted once to the saw's base, after which the saw lifts on and off the stand without tools. STANLEY states that the brackets are universal fitment and accept all STANLEY FATMAX mitre saws.

Extends to 2.06 metres

The beam extends to up to 2.06 m, and the two adjustable side rollers slide along it and set to the height of the saw table. The rollers carry the weight of long battens and skirting and guide them as they feed, which makes the cut more accurate and safer.

Folding legs and transport

The legs use a short beam stand and collapse, so the workstation stores flat in a garage or workshop. An integrated handle lets it be carried one-handed. Weight is 14.3 kg, assembled length 127.5 cm and height 84.3 cm.

Applications

The stand is for joinery and fit-out work where the mitre saw moves often: skirting, cladding, battens, window frames and framing. The combination of quick mounting, folding and low weight is aimed squarely at site work rather than a permanently equipped workshop.
