Works without a mains water supply
This is the key difference from an ordinary pressure washer. The machine draws water from a container - a bucket, drum, barrel, tank or even directly from a lake or river - through the supplied 6-metre suction hose. Neither mains power nor a water connection is required, which makes it usable where a conventional washer simply cannot work.
Two pressure settings
The low setting of 45 bar suits washing a car, a bicycle, garden furniture and anything where higher pressure would damage paint or seals. The high setting of 69 bar handles heavily soiled surfaces - mud on plant, deposits on concrete, dried mortar on tools.
What it can and cannot do
It is worth being clear about the limits. Mains-powered domestic washers typically run at 100 - 150 bar, more than double this. This machine does not replace them for daily cleaning of large areas, paving and facades. Its strength lies elsewhere - where there is neither power nor a tap, and machinery, tools, boots or a vehicle need washing. A container of water and one battery turn any point on site into a washing station.

Does it need a mains water connection?
No. The machine draws water straight from a container through the supplied 6-metre suction hose - a bucket, drum, barrel or a natural water source. That is its main advantage: it works on site, in a forest, on a beach or in a car park where there is neither a tap nor a socket.
What pressure does it produce?
Two settings - 45 bar low and 69 bar high. For comparison, mains-powered domestic washers usually deliver 100 - 150 bar. This machine is not a substitute for a mains washer on heavy cleaning; it is a solution for places without power and water.
Is a battery included?
No. The "N" denotes a tool-only delivery. It runs on DeWalt XR FLEXVOLT 54 V batteries. As current draw is high, a large-capacity pack is advisable - with a 9 Ah battery runtime reaches 60 minutes.
Can it be used to wash a car?
Yes, and the low 45 bar setting is intended for exactly this - enough to rinse off mud and dust without risk to paint and seals. The 0.5 l detergent bottle allows foam to be applied before rinsing.
What is the turbo nozzle for?

Does it need a mains water connection?

Is 24 bar enough?
It depends on the job. For rinsing off mud, dust and sand - yes. For ingrained dirt, deposits on concrete, moss and facades - no; those need 100 bar and above, which mains machines provide. This washer does not replace them; it covers the cases they simply cannot reach.
Is a battery included?
No. The "Z" at the end of the model means the tool only. It runs on any battery from the Makita LXT 18 V platform. For longer sessions a 5.0 Ah pack or larger is advisable.
How long does it run on one charge?
