Pica Fine Dry Graphite Refill Leads, Hardness H, Ø0.9 mm, 24 pcs - 7050

Pica 7050 is a lead box with 24 graphite refill leads in hardness H for the Pica Fine Dry automatic pencil. The leads are 0.9 mm in diameter and 60 mm long. The manufacturer describes them as graphite leads for the highest precision - hardness H is intended for fine markings where the line has to be especially accurate.

For the Pica Fine Dry pencil

The leads are refills for the Pica Fine Dry Longlife Automatic Pencil 0.9 (article 7070) - an automatic pencil with a push mechanism for lead feed, an integrated eraser, a holster with clip and protection against dust and moisture. With H leads the pencil becomes a tool for fine and precise marking without any sharpening. Pica supplies the Fine Dry with 5 HB graphite leads, so the 7050 box is the way to load the pencil with the harder H graphite. The manufacturer also offers a Fine Dry Bundle with HB and H graphite leads.

Graphite H or HB

Pica offers the graphite refills for the Fine Dry in two hardnesses, both with 24 leads per box: HB (7030), which the manufacturer calls ideal for most surfaces, and H (7050) - for fine markings with the highest precision. The graphite leads are intended for light-coloured surfaces such as wood, plastic and metal. For dark surfaces Pica offers coloured leads - red (7031) and white (7032), 12 per box.

Lead box with rotating lid

The leads come in a box with a rotating lid, which according to the manufacturer allows quick removal. To protect the pencil mechanism, Pica recommends always inserting the leads from the rear.

Limitations

The manufacturer states that the Fine Dry refills are not suitable for glass-smooth, shiny surfaces. According to Pica, all Fine Dry refills are temperature resistant up to 70 °C. The manufacturer also offers the same H graphite leads in a self-service pack (article 7050/SB).
