Pica 55802 is a set of 5 spare erasers for the Pica Fine Dry automatic pencil. The Fine Dry has a large integrated eraser for quick corrections, and this set lets you replace it once it wears out. The erasers come in a clear OPP poly bag with a hanging tab.

Which pencil they fit

The erasers are intended for the Pica Fine Dry (art. 7070) - an automatic pencil with a lead diameter of only 0.9 mm for fine and precise marking without sharpening. The manufacturer describes it with a push mechanism for automatic lead feed in a stainless steel tube, a practical holster of sturdy plastic with a special clip for one-hand operation, effective dust and moisture protection and a shaft with a roll stop. The large integrated eraser is one of its key features.

Packaging

Each bag contains 5 spare erasers. For retailers Pica supplies the bags hung on a clip strip with a metal hook - 10 bags per strip, for space-saving presentation in the shop.

Refill leads for Fine Dry

Besides the erasers, the manufacturer offers refill leads for the Fine Dry, 60 mm long and 0.9 mm in diameter: HB (7030) and H (7050) in packs of 24 - for most surfaces and for highest precision - and coloured red (7031) and white (7032) leads in packs of 12 for dark surfaces. A Fine Dry pencil comes loaded with 5 HB leads. According to the manufacturer all Fine Dry refills are temperature-resistant up to 70 °C.

When a spare eraser is needed

The integrated eraser of the Fine Dry is intended for quick corrections of the marking. The spare set extends the life of the pencil: when the eraser wears out, it is replaced with a new one from the bag, and the tool itself stays in use.
