Luminescent Crayon Pica Classic PRO 592, Orange - 592/054

Pica Classic PRO 592 is a luminescent crayon for optical reading sensors ("Lumineszenzkreide für optische Abtastsysteme"). The crayon is orange, and 592/054 is the item number under which Pica supplies it in cardboard boxes of 12. According to the packaging the crayon is hexagonal, 12 mm thick and 120 mm long.

Premium-quality crayon

The manufacturer describes the crayon as a premium-quality product made from the best raw materials for professional use. Thanks to its extremely high pigmentation the mark is rich and easy to read, and the extruded, highly compacted material gives high breaking resistance. In its earlier product sheet Pica states that the crayon is oil-based and intended for industrial use.

Dry and wet wood

The crayon is ideal for permanent marking on dry and wet lumber and is also suitable for metal, stone, concrete and plastic. The manufacturer's list of surfaces names brick, stone, concrete, wood, wet wood, rubber, metal, plastic and paper. In the earlier sheet Pica recommends the crayon for building construction, underground engineering and woodwork.

Accessories

For this crayon Pica recommends the Pica Classic 588 holder with a push mechanism designed for the brand's crayons, and the Jumbo Sharpener 560-12 for sharpening. The accessories are not included and are sold separately.

Other Pica Classic crayons

In the crayon group of the Pica Classic line the manufacturer also offers the soapstone crayon (571), the blackboard chalk (581) and the 590 PRO and 591 ECO forester and signing chalks. The 592 luminescent crayon is the version intended for marks that are read by optical sensors.
