Pica BIG Ink Smart-Use Marker XL, White - 170/52

Pica BIG Ink 170/52 is a permanent marker with a deep hole function in white. The manufacturer calls it the Smart-Use Marker XL - a combination of a deep hole marker and a permanent marker in one tool. Its thick tip allows both bold and precise marking on all smooth materials, while the extra-long tip reaches hard-to-reach places.

2-4 mm tip and the Twist&Revive system

The line width is 2-4 mm and the marker is 160 mm long. The special tip is soft and sturdy at the same time, which according to Pica gives it a unique writing feel. The double writing tip uses the Twist&Revive system: it can be twisted and reinserted, so the marker quickly revives and lasts longer.

XL ink reservoir and side holster

The XL ink reservoir gives a longer writing time. The marker sits in a side holster, so it is always at hand, and the manufacturer also lists one-hand operation. Pica advises always closing the marker after use to prevent it from drying out.

Ink

The white variant 170/52 uses Instant White ink - a permanent water-based ink that, according to the manufacturer, becomes water- and smudge-proof after approx. 20 seconds.
