The DeWalt DCK3222MP2T-QW is a set of three brushless machines from the limited McLaren F1 Team edition - the DCD86M combi drill, the DCF99M impact wrench and the DCG45M angle grinder. It ships with two 18 V / 5.0 Ah batteries, a fast charger and a TSTAK case in the range's distinctive black-and-orange finish.

DCD86M combi drill

A compact machine weighing just 1.34 kg without a battery, delivering 90 Nm in hard joints and 27 Nm in soft ones. The two-speed gearbox runs at 0 - 650 and 0 - 2000 rpm, and the 14-stage clutch allows precise control when driving screws. The keyless chuck takes 1.5 - 13 mm and there is a hammer mode for masonry.

DCF99M impact wrench

The most powerful machine in the kit. With a 1/2" square drive it produces 1396 Nm of fastening torque and 1898 Nm when loosening - enough for heavily torqued bolts in steelwork, plant machinery and vehicle servicing. It offers four working modes and speeds up to 2300 rpm.

DCG45M angle grinder

An angle grinder for Ø 125 mm discs running at 9000 rpm with an M14 spindle, weighing 1.89 kg. Supplied with a snap-lock cutting guard, a grinding guard, a side handle and a disc wrench.

Who it is for

The three machines together cover assembly, dismantling and cutting from one battery type. The kit suits vehicle workshops and mobile technicians, steel-frame and scaffolding fitters, and industrial maintenance work where driving large bolts, drilling and cutting profiles alternate. A shared platform means fewer chargers and fewer spare packs in the van.

Brushless motors

All three machines have brushless motors. Removing the carbon brushes removes the main wearing part in the motor, which gives higher efficiency, a lower running temperature and longer life under daily load.

Power and storage

The three machines run on two 18 V XR batteries of 5.0 Ah and charge from the supplied fast charger. Everything stows in a TSTAK case in the special McLaren F1 Team livery, which stacks with the rest of the storage system.
