The Makita DKP181Z 18V LXT 82mm cordless brushless planer features a powerful brushless motor that delivers power comparable to that of AC models.

The DKP181 is part of the Makita Auto-start (AWS) cordless system-with the optional wireless module (sold separately), a wireless connection can be established between the tool and an AWS-compatible vacuum for wireless vacuum activation when the tool's trigger is pulled.

The DKP181Z kit comes with planer blades.

The powerful brushless motor allows for a maximum cutting depth of 3 mm.
The body design has been redesigned to allow for a cutting depth of up to 25 mm.
