The stainless version of the 1-TRA706T staple

In Stanley's range, a type G staple 10 mm long in a pack of 1000 is also available in a galvanised version - article 1-TRA706T. TRA706SST-0 is the stainless steel version. It is the right choice when the fixing will stay exposed to moisture - outdoors or in damp rooms, where a galvanised staple can rust over time.

Applications

Stanley describes its heavy-duty type G staples as thick gauge wire that gives good holding power in thin woods, wire netting, insulation and sheet materials. The 10 mm length sits in the middle of the range: Stanley's galvanised type G staples come in 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 mm lengths. Before choosing a longer staple, check your tacker's manual for the maximum length it accepts.

If your tacker is not on the list, check its manual to see whether it takes type G staples 10 mm long.
