The STANLEY FATMAX FMHT83556-1 is a telescopic extension accessory for the TradeLift hand lifting tool, supplied by the manufacturer as a twin pack. It raises the tool's working height into the 295-685 mm range and carries a load of up to 150 kg.

What the accessory does

The TradeLift on its own works in the low range. The extension slides over the bar and is secured behind the lift plate, continuing the stroke upwards without changing how the tool is used. Its lift plate replicates the parameters of the base plate, so the bearing area under the workpiece stays the same and no stability is lost.

Tool-free attachment and adjustment

The accessory is secured by aluminium levers at the base - no spanners, no screws. It locks behind the lift plate so it cannot separate from the tool during operation. Height is set with aluminium locking pins at three positions, again without tools.

Material and surface protection

Construction is aluminium with reinforced plastic components. A removable cover on the lifting plate protects finished surfaces from scratches and marks - which matters when fitting furniture and already-painted components. The article carries the CE mark.

Applications

The manufacturer names three typical cases: fitting wall cabinets, bath levelling and fitting and installing staircases. What they share is a heavy or bulky component that has to be raised, held at an exact height and adjusted by one person.
