Combination blade

One blade covers two different jobs. The plain section cuts cleanly through paper, card, film, thin plastic and leather. The serrated section bites and handles rope, webbing, cable insulation and plastic strapping, where a plain edge simply skates. Blade length is 80 mm according to the manufacturer.

One-handed opening

The blade carries a thumb stud, so the knife opens with the hand holding it. That matters in practice when the other hand is holding a workpiece, a ladder or a cable.

Liner lock

The blade locks open with a liner lock - a sprung leaf that moves behind the heel of the blade. The lock stops the blade folding onto the fingers under pressure and releases with the thumb, again one-handed.

Body and dimensions

The body is stainless steel according to the manufacturer's specification, with a finger-contoured ergonomic handle. Closed, the knife measures 190 x 20 x 30 mm at a weight of 0.18 kg. The manufacturer supplies it on a carded blister.

Applications

The knife is for daily work on site and in the workshop: opening packaging, cutting insulation, tape, rope and strapping, preparing cables. Its slim profile lets it ride in a work trouser pocket without getting in the way.
