Pica Classic DOUBLE 559 is a two-colour checking pencil - red and blue in one. The manufacturer describes it as a pencil with a thick lead that releases colour easily and supplies it sharpened on both ends. 559-10 is the item number under which Pica supplies the model in a hangable cardboard box of 10 pencils.

Two leads in one pencil

One half of the pencil is red and the other is blue, and each end is sharpened separately. This lets you mark in two colours with a single pencil without changing tools. Pica supplies DOUBLE 559 in two kinds of packaging: a hangable cardboard box of 10 pencils (item 559-10) and a display box of 50 pencils (item 559-50). The pencil in both packs is the same. The hangable box is printed "10 Pica Classic DOUBLE 559" and states in three languages that the pencil is red and blue in one and sharpened on both sides.
