Permanent Paint Marker Pica Classic 524, Red - 524/40

Pica Classic 524/40 is an industrial paint marker (Lackmarker / Paint Marker) from the Pica Classic line of the German manufacturer Pica-Marker, in red. It is designed for permanent marking on almost all surfaces. The paint is highly opaque, so the lines are bright, high-contrast and clearly visible. The marker has a round tip and leaves a line 2-4 mm wide. The barrel is white with the "Pica Classic 524" print, while the cap and tip are in the colour of the paint.

Durable marking indoors and outdoors

According to the manufacturer the paint is extremely lightfast, quick-drying and also suitable for outdoor use. The marking is hard to remove, which makes the marker a good choice wherever a label has to stay legible for a long time. Pica also states that the marker is free of xylene and toluene.

Surfaces and trades

In its current product sheet Pica lists metal, wood, plastic, glass, paper, tiles, rubber and brick as suitable surfaces. In the earlier sheet for this model the manufacturer recommends it for automotive engineering, glaziers, locksmiths, mechanics, varnishers and woodwork.

Colours and packaging

Pica Classic 524 is available in six colours: green (524/36), red (524/40), blue (524/41), yellow (524/44), black (524/46) and white (524/52). This page is for the red marker 524/40. The manufacturer supplies the markers in trade packs of 10 per colour and also offers a display for the Classic line markers (item 66520) for shops.

Other Pica Classic markers

The paint marker belongs to the industrial marker group of the Pica Classic line. The manufacturer also offers the 520/521 permanent marker, the Instant White 522/532 marker and pen, the 528 XXL permanent marker and the 533/534 permanent pen - each for a different kind of marking.
