Pica BIG Dry FOR ALL Refill Leads, Graphite 2B, White and Red, 12 pcs - 6045

Pica 6045 is a box of 12 universal FOR ALL refill leads for the Pica BIG Dry automatic construction pencil in a mixed version: 4 graphite 2B leads, 4 white and 4 red. The leads are rectangular, with a 2 x 5 mm profile and 150 mm length. Pica describes them as water-soluble construction leads - the "absolute all-rounders" of the range.

For the Pica BIG Dry pencil

The leads are for the Pica BIG Dry Longlife Construction Marker (article 6060) - Pica's carpenter's automatic pencil with rectangular 2 x 5 mm leads, a push mechanism for lead feed, a lead sharpener and dust and moisture protection. As standard the pencil comes with a FOR ALL 2B graphite lead, and this box adds two colours for contrast. The leads are loaded from behind.

Graphite and colour in one box

According to the manufacturer the FOR ALL 2B graphite writes on most materials - dry or wet, glossy or rough, dusty or oily. The graphite line does not show through dispersion paint, and Pica specifies that only the graphite leads can be painted over. The manufacturer recommends the white and red FOR ALL leads for dark and glossy materials.

Water-soluble

All FOR ALL leads are water-soluble - the marking wipes off smooth surfaces with a damp cloth. The manufacturer recommends protecting the leads from temperatures above 30 °C. Pica lists tiles, plastic, metal, wood, wet wood, rubber, wet rubber, leather, brick and glass as suitable surfaces.

Lead box with two wings

The twelve leads are stored in a sturdy plastic box with two opening wings for easy handling. The label carries the description in German, English, French and Dutch: FOR ALL leads for most materials - glossy, rough, dusty and oily, dry or wet, bright and dark. Pica also offers the FOR ALL leads in single colours - graphite 2B (6030), red (6031) and white (6032) - and the mixed box as a blister (6045/SB).
