Pica BIG Dry FOR ALL Refill Leads, Graphite 2B, 12 pcs - 6030

Pica 6030 is a pack of 12 FOR ALL refill leads in hardness 2B for the Pica BIG Dry automatic construction pencil. The leads are rectangular, with a 2 x 5 mm profile and a length of 150 mm, and come in a sturdy plastic box with two opening wings for a quick lead change.

Universal FOR ALL graphite

The manufacturer describes the FOR ALL leads as universal - for most materials, dry or wet, smooth or rough, dusty or oily. They are water-soluble: the marking wipes off smooth surfaces with a damp cloth. The graphite line does not show through dispersion paint, and according to Pica only the graphite FOR ALL leads, not the coloured ones, can be painted over. The leads should be protected from temperatures above 30 °C.

Surfaces

Pica lists tiles, plastic, metal, wood, wet wood, rubber, wet rubber, leather, brick and glass as suitable. In its earlier product sheet the manufacturer rates the FOR ALL graphite as ideal for metal, processed wood, raw wood - dry and wet - plastic and tiles, suitable for stone and concrete, and acceptable on rubber, glass and leather.

Other leads for BIG Dry

Pica also offers the same FOR ALL leads in red (6031) and white (6032), and as the mixed pack 6045 with 4 graphite, 4 red and 4 white leads. The manufacturer recommends the red and white FOR ALL leads especially for dark and glossy materials. For more specific work there are carpenter leads 2H (6050) and stonemason leads 10H (6055) in the same size. In its product sheet Pica lists the FOR ALL leads for building construction, plumbing, tiling, underground construction and woodwork.
