4932501152 is a pair of Milwaukee pliers wrenches - one 180 mm long, one 250 mm. Both grip nuts and pipe fittings on smooth parallel jaws rather than on teeth, and both set their opening from a button pressed directly on the workpiece, without letting go of the handles.

Why two sizes

The two tools cover different ground. The 180 mm wrench reaches into tight work and is handled one-handed - under a sink, behind a radiator, inside a cabinet. The 250 mm wrench gives a longer lever and a wider opening, so it takes the big pipe nuts and joints pulled up hard.

The smooth jaws

The gripping faces on both tools are smooth. That is what separates them from ordinary water pump pliers, and why they suit chrome-plated and polished work - traps, nickel-plated pipe, coated fittings, tap tails. The toothed strip in the middle of each tool is the adjustment rack, not the jaw.

Push-button adjustment and ratcheting action

The opening is changed with a quick-adjust button, pressed by the thumb of the hand already holding the tool. The jaw slides to the size of the nut and the button is released. In use there is a ratcheting action: after each pull the handles relax and travel back without the tool coming off the nut - in a confined space, the only way to work at a sensible speed.

Scales, capacity and handles

Imperial graduations are engraved on the jaws. On the 250 mm wrench the scale ends at 2 1/4", matching its stated 57 mm maximum capacity. On the 180 mm wrench the last mark is 1 3/4", roughly 44 mm. Some trade listings quote a higher figure for the smaller tool; we go by the scale engraved on the tool itself. Both wrenches have fully dipped handles.
