Milwaukee M18 GG-0 Cordless Grease Gun, 690 bar, 4933440493

The Milwaukee M18 GG-0 is a cordless grease gun on the M18 platform with up to 690 bar of operating pressure. It takes a 400 ml cartridge or 473 ml of bulk grease and is supplied as a bare tool with hose and two couplers. Article 4933440493.

690 bar is what makes a blocked nipple give way

The gun builds up to 690 bar. That is the pressure that clears a blocked grease nipple, which is exactly where a hand gun gives up and the hammer comes out. On trailer bearings, excavator pins or half-shafts, pressure matters more than flow rate.

Three ways to load it

The gun fills from a 400 ml cartridge, from bulk up to 473 ml, or by suction. Suction is useful with a workshop drum: no cartridges to buy and no packaging to throw away. The air bleeder valve clears the air pocket that otherwise stops delivery altogether.

Hose and couplers

It ships with a 1219 mm high-pressure flex hose with a spring guard. Both a straight and a right-angle coupler are included, and the right-angle one is what rescues a nipple pressed up against an arm or a chassis rail. The hose stows in a channel on the body.

How far one charge goes

Milwaukee quotes up to 7 cartridges per charge. On a round of a machine fleet that means the battery is not the limit; the number of nipples to grease is. The on-board fuel gauge and the LED help when working underneath a machine.

Size and balance

The gun is 355 mm long and weighs 3.9 kg without a battery. The top handle sits so the tool hangs balanced in one hand while the other guides the coupler. Otherwise greasing a high nipple needs both hands and no view of the point.

Bare tool from the M18 system

No battery, charger or bag is included. It runs on any M18 pack. REDLINK electronics monitor load in both the tool and the battery and shut down on overload rather than letting the pump burn out.

Questions and Answers

Is a battery included?

No. The M18 GG-0 is a bare tool supplied without battery, charger or bag. It runs on any Milwaukee M18 pack.

What cartridge does it take?

A standard 400 ml cartridge. It can also be filled with bulk grease up to 473 ml, or loaded by suction straight from a drum or tub.

What pressure does it reach?

Up to 690 bar. That is enough to clear a nipple a hand gun cannot push through, without resorting to a hammer.

How many cartridges per charge?

Milwaukee quotes up to 7 cartridges per charge. The real figure depends on the battery capacity and on how thick the grease is.

Is a right-angle coupler included?

Yes. Both straight and right-angle couplers are supplied, along with the 1219 mm hose with spring guard and a carrying strap.

What does the air bleeder valve do?

It releases the air pocket that forms when a cartridge is changed. Without bleeding, the pump moves air and no grease reaches the coupler.

How does it differ from the M18 GG-201C?

It is the same machine. The 201C is a kit with a 2.0 Ah battery, an M12-18C charger and a case, while the GG-0 is the bare tool only.
