Cordless Grease Gun - DeWALT DCGG581N-XJ, 18 V XR, 690 bar, 2 Speed Modes, without Battery and Charger

DeWALT DCGG581N-XJ Cordless Grease Gun, 18 V XR, without Battery and Charger

The DeWALT DCGG581N-XJ is a cordless grease gun from DeWALT's 18-volt XR range. The manufacturer offers it as the base version - the tool comes with a shoulder strap but without a battery and without a charger. According to DeWALT it is designed for fast, easy and efficient lubrication of all kinds of moving parts. It suits anyone who already owns batteries from DeWALT's 18-volt XR system.

Two speed modes

The grease gun has two operating modes. In high pressure mode it delivers 85 ml/min at 690 bar - the force needed to push through clogged grease fittings. In high flow mode it delivers 255 ml/min at 345 bar and is meant for jobs where a large volume of grease has to go in. The speed is variable, and the warning label on the housing states a pressure of up to 10,000 PSI (690 bar).

Hose, filter and air bleed

The hose is 1.2 m long and reaches grease fittings in awkward places. The easy-to-use bleeder valve keeps the working pressure even, and a filter stops dirt from getting into the pump mechanism. The grease gun takes grease cartridges without trouble and can also be filled easily from a bulk container.

Comfortable to use

A powerful, high-intensity LED lights up the point being greased. The grip is rubberised and non-slip, which according to the manufacturer gives a secure hold especially when working outdoors. The housing has a hook for a shoulder strap, and the strap itself is included.
