The MAKTRAK system

MAKTRAK is Makita's modular storage and transport system. Modules stack on one another and lock together, so the whole column is carried as one case. That is the point of the system - not the individual box, but how it combines with the rest.

Why a clear lid

The contents are visible without opening. On site that saves opening three boxes to find one connector. The lid is ribbed inside, which presses the containers down so they do not shift when carried.

The deep compartments

12.7 cm is deeper than usual for an organiser - it takes longer parts, not only small fixings. The five containers lift out individually, so only the one needed goes to the work point.

Catches and handle

The catches are large and work with gloves on - a detail appreciated in cold weather. The attachment points are metal reinforced. The handle is ergonomic, and the body has a concealed tracker slot against theft.

Applications

Screws, plugs, bits, drills, connectors, terminals and small parts. It stacks on MAKTRAK boxes, and two organisers stack on each other.
