A rigid base that stands

The base is impact-resistant moulded plastic. In practice that does two things: the backpack stands upright on its own instead of slumping sideways when set down, and the contents stay dry and clean when it is put on wet concrete or mud. The same base lets the backpack combine with L-BOXX Contractor cases and travel as part of the system.

Tools and paperwork kept apart

The backpack has two compartments - one for tools and one for documents and devices.
