The MAKTRAK system

MAKTRAK is Makita's modular storage and transport system. Modules stack on one another and lock together, so the whole column is carried as one case. That is the point of the system - not the individual box, but how it combines with the rest.

What is inside

A deep compartment for hand tools and a shallow tray with movable dividers for small parts. The tray lifts out, leaving the deep compartment free for larger tools. The inside of the lid carries attachment points - for spanners, screwdrivers or whatever is carried often.

Material and load capacity

The body is impact-resistant copolymer and the stated load capacity is 34 kg. That is the limit for safe carrying and stacking - not the weight it survives being dropped with.

Locking and security

Large catches that work with gloves, with metal reinforced points. The body carries a tracker slot.

Applications

Carrying and storing hand tools, accessories, batteries, chargers and fixings. Used on its own or stacked with the other MAKTRAK modules.
