Makita P-91051 Low-Profile Organizer with Boxes, 596 x 387 x 85 mm

P-91051 is a low-profile organiser from Makita, listed in the manufacturer's catalogue as the Low-Profile Medium Organizer. The clear lid shows the contents without opening it, and the inside is divided into removable boxes that lift out one at a time.

Why removable boxes matter

Fixings do not stay in one place - the plugs are needed on site while the screws stay in the van. A single box lifts out and travels on its own, instead of carrying a whole organiser for two handfuls of bolts. Put back, the order is unchanged.

The size

The 85 mm height is deliberate: the organiser lies on top of a stack or under a seat and does not eat space when it only carries small parts. External dimensions are 596 x 387 x 85 mm.

Part of the Makita system

The organiser has latches on its sides and is made to join the other boxes in Makita's system, so the stack travels as one object rather than as a pile.

Questions and Answers

What is the P-91051 organiser?

Makita lists it as the Low-Profile Medium Organizer - a low-profile organiser with removable boxes and a clear lid. It measures 596 x 387 x 85 mm.

Do the boxes come out?

Yes. The compartments are separate boxes that lift out individually - you carry only what the job needs instead of the whole organiser.

Why is the lid clear?

So the contents can be seen without opening it. With several identical organisers in a stack that saves opening each one in turn.

Can it be stacked with other cases?

The organiser belongs to Makita’s system, with latches on the sides, and is designed to join the other boxes in that system.

What are the dimensions?

596 x 387 x 85 mm. These come from the supplier’s price list; Makita does not publish a dimension table for this article.

Are the boxes included?

Yes - the organiser is supplied with the compartment boxes shown in Makita’s own photograph.

What is it most used for?

Fixings, bits, sockets and small spare parts - the things that otherwise scatter across the bottom of a bag and take ten minutes to find.
