Description:
Knipex 14 26 160 cutting pliers combine high-precision cutting with convenient insulation stripping. With extended cutting edges and an improved gear ratio, the tool provides up to 25% greater working capacity. They are equipped with precision slots for stripping single-core (solid) cables with cross-sections of 1.5 and 2.5 mm2, as well as the ability to comfortably cut cables up to 5 x 2.5 mm2. The long tips allow for precise cutting even in confined spaces. The cutting edges are induction-hardened to a hardness of approximately 60 HRC and effortlessly handle soft conductors up to Ø 4.0 mm. They are made of forged vanadium electric steel, repeatedly oil-hardened for maximum strength and durability. The chrome-plated finish contributes to corrosion resistance and extends the tool's service life.
