The Knipex 95 31 280
automatic ratchet cable cutters are designed for cutting both single- and multi-strand copper and aluminum cables. They are not suitable for cutting steel wire or ropes. The blades are hardened and feature precision-ground cutting edges, ensuring a smooth and clean cut without crushing the material. Working with these pliers is comfortable and easy, as they operate with a single-action ratchet mechanism. This requires less effort thanks to the high gear ratio. The pliers feature a two-stage ratchet mechanism, which facilitates the cutting process. With their compact design and minimal weight, they are easy to handle and allow for work even in tight spaces without the risk of injury. They are made of special tool steel that is forged and oil-hardened, ensuring the tool's long service life and reliability. They can be successfully used for cutting aluminum conductors with a cross-section of up to 4 x 150 mm2, including sector cables.
