Knipex 95 36 315 A Cable Cutter

The Knipex 95 36 315 A is a professional cable cutter with a ratchet mechanism, designed for cutting armored steel-wire cables (SWA). It is suitable for electrical installations, industrial maintenance, and municipal work where a clean and controlled cut is required for larger cables.

Key advantages

The tool features a three-stage high-leverage ratchet drive, which reduces the force required for cutting. The cutting edges are precision-ground and induction-hardened, and the head is made of special high-quality tool steel, forged and oil-hardened for durability.

The cutter is VDE-tested and complies with IEC 60900 and DIN EN 60900. The insulated multi-component handles and black-lacquered body contribute to safe and practical operation. The model allows for cutting SWA and multi-strand copper or aluminum cables up to 45 mm in diameter or 380 mm2, for example 4 x 95 mm2.

Practical Use

With a length of 315 mm and a weight of approximately 800 g, the tool is convenient even in confined spaces such as distribution panels, cable trays, and junction boxes.
