A cup brush for angle grinders, 75 mm in diameter with 0.30 mm crimped brass-coated wire. It screws straight onto an M10 spindle. Maximum speed is 12,500 min^-1.

Crimped, not knotted wire

Crimped wire is softer than knotted - it works more gently on the substrate and suits cleaning rather than heavy removal. The brass coating reduces sparking and helps on softer metals.

Which machine

The brush is for angle grinders of 100 mm minimum diameter with an M10 spindle thread. Important: most angle grinders have an M14 thread - check your machine's spindle before ordering.

Safety

The product carries EN 1083-2 marking. Do not exceed the maximum 12,500 min^-1 - a brush run above its rated speed sheds wires.

What is the thread?

M10. NOTE: most angle grinders use an M14 thread - check your machine's spindle before ordering. A brush with the wrong thread will not fit.

What wire is it?

0.30 mm crimped wire with a brass coating. A description of "steel wire" is not accurate - the coating is brass, visible in the golden colour.

What is the difference between crimped and knotted wire?

Crimped is softer and works more gently - for cleaning rust, scale and old coatings. Knotted is aggressive and removes material.

What is the maximum speed?

12,500 rpm. Do not exceed it - a brush run above its rated speed begins to shed wires.

Which machine is it for?

Angle grinders of 100 mm minimum diameter with an M10 spindle.

Is an adapter needed?

No. The brush screws directly onto the spindle - no adapters or spanners are supplied or needed.
