The Bosch GAS 12-25 LS Professional (order number 06019S3100) is a wet and dry vacuum rated at 1200 W with a 25 litre container. It is classified to dust class L and built for building sites, workshops and service bays.

Wet and dry in one machine

The machine picks up dust and shavings as well as liquids, with no change of configuration beyond removing the filter. Usable volume is 20 litres dry and 18 litres wet - the difference being the level to which the tank can safely be filled with liquid.

Semi-automatic filter cleaning

The SFC system is the key feature. In sustained work the filter clogs and suction falls - at that point a button is pressed and the filter is cleaned mechanically, restoring over 90% of suction power. Without such a system work stops while the filter is pulled out and knocked clean, which throws up a cloud of dust.

Power socket with start-stop

The body carries an integrated socket for a power tool. When the tool starts, the vacuum starts with it and keeps running for a few seconds after switch-off to clear the hose. That turns the unit into dust extraction for an angle grinder, circular saw or sander rather than something switched on and off separately.

Dust class L

The classification means retention of over 99% of dust particles and covers ordinary construction dusts - wood, plaster, cement. For quartz dust from working concrete and for asbestos, class M or H machines with stricter requirements are needed.

Who it is for

The machine is aimed at building and refurbishment crews, drylining installers, joinery workshops and service bays, where dust, shavings and spilled liquid all turn up together. It is also useful for cleaning up after a flood or leak. For domestic use the capacity is more than enough, and the rugged shell means it will not wear out from a few cleans a year.

The housing carries an IPX4 rating against splashing water, necessary for wet pick-up and outdoor work. The machine runs on four wheels, weighs 9.4 kg and measures 340 x 605 x 455 mm. The hose is 3 metres long with a 27 mm diameter.
