BOSCH Step Drill Bit for Metal, HSS, 6-39 mm

The BOSCH step drill bit for metal features 12 drilling stages, ranging from 6 to 39 mm. It has a three-flute shank and ensures smooth drilling across multiple diameters with a single tool. It is made of highly durable materials. The HSS drill bit ensures smooth, chip-free drilling across multiple diameters with a single bit. It is ideal for cleaning, drilling round holes, and enlarging existing holes. No pilot hole is required because the cross-ground tip allows for easy starting. The CNC-ground spiral flute enables optimized chip removal and reduced vibration for smooth drilling. Maximum cutting efficiency and absolute smoothness are guaranteed thanks to axial and radial relief grinding. This step drill is suitable for use with thin materials such as non-ferrous metals, plastic sheets, sheet metal, plastic, and stainless steel. The step drill is made of HSS (high-speed steel) and offers a long service life when used with coolant. The clearly visible and durable hole diameter markings are created using laser-etched symbols in both flutes. In addition, the 3-flute shank prevents slipping in the chuck and ensures stable transmission of high torque.
