Milwaukee M12 FJS-0 FUEL Cordless Jigsaw

A sub-compact body grip jigsaw on the M12 FUEL platform. It weighs about 1.5 kg bare - a one-handed tool for cutting thin material in place and for shapes where a full-size jigsaw is clumsy.

Supplied without battery, charger, case or bag. That is what the -0 suffix means. For a kit with batteries, the article is M12 FJS-422X.

Motor and stroke

The brushless motor runs from 800 to 3000 strokes/min with variable control. Stroke length is 22 mm. Pendulum action has 5 settings.

Cutting capacity

  • aluminium - up to 3 mm

The shoe bevels from 0 to 45°.

What this machine is not

This is a 12 volt jigsaw. Its capacity in metal is 3 mm - thicker steel calls for an 18 volt machine. It is bought for its size and weight, not for its capacity.

Is there a case?

No. The manufacturer states "no kitbox or bag supplied". For a kit, the article is M12 FJS-422X.

Why do I see two article numbers?

How thick will it cut in metal?

Up to 3 mm in steel and 3 mm in aluminium. This is a 12 volt machine - thicker metal calls for an 18 volt one.

How does it differ from the M18 FBJS?
