Description:

The JV183DZ is a cordless jigsaw with a handle, powered by an 18V G Series battery (not included), delivering up to 2,900 spm. The variable speed trigger allows the user to adjust the speed to the application for optimal cutting performance in various materials. The jigsaw features 3 orbital settings plus straight cutting for use on a wide range of materials, beveling up to 45 degrees to the right or left, and a positive stop at 90 degrees for consistent cutting results.

The dust cover prevents sawdust from scattering; a dust nozzle can be attached for connection to a Makita vacuum cleaner.

The G-Series battery can be identified by its white or gray top and offers a battery capacity of 1.3 Ah in 14.4V and 18V platforms. A 60-minute charging time is achieved with the G-Series DC18WA battery charger.
