Kärcher EasyFix Microfibre Cloth Set for Bathrooms, 4 Pieces, 28632660

Kärcher EasyFix Microfibre Cloth Set for Bathrooms, 28632660

Kärcher 2.863-266.0 is a 4-part microfibre cloth set for bathrooms, for SC series steam cleaners with the EasyFix floor nozzle. It contains two floor cloths, an abrasive cover for the hand nozzle and a polishing cloth.

What is in the set

The two floor cloths attach to the EasyFix floor nozzle by hook-and-loop - you simply press the nozzle onto them. The cloth wraps the nozzle on all sides, which matters at corners, edges and behind the toilet, where a flat cloth does not reach.

The abrasive cover for the hand nozzle is two-layered: abrasive fibres for limescale and soap residue, and a soft microfibre section that picks up what has been loosened. This is the cloth for the shower cubicle, the bath and the fittings.

The polishing cloth is 70% polyester and 30% polyamide, made for mirrors and smooth surfaces - it polishes streak-free and absorbs a lot of water.

The strap that keeps your hands clean

The floor cloths have a base strap. To change one you stand on the strap and pull the nozzle up and away - the cloth comes off by itself and your hand never touches the dirty side. In a bathroom, where the cloth collects precisely what you do not want on your hands, that is no small extra.

Care - the rule that matters

The cloths are machine washable up to 60 °C, but without fabric softener. Softener coats the microfibre fibres in a thin film that blocks their capillaries - the cloth stops picking dirt up and starts smearing it around instead. A microfibre cloth washed with softener does not recover.

Compatibility

The set fits the SC 1 Multi, SC 2, SC 3, SC 4 and SC 5 steam cleaners, including the Deluxe versions and the models with an iron. The condition is that the floor nozzle is EasyFix.
