Applications and Compatibility

The cutter is suitable for soft wood, drywall, plastics, fiberglass, laminated materials, thin aluminum and vinyl cladding, as well as for freehand cutting in wall tiles, but not in floor tiles. We recommend using it with the Dremel multipurpose cutting attachment for a more stable and consistent cutting depth.

Practical Features

The spiral geometry of the flute allows the bit to penetrate the material and then move sideways, making it easy to cut openings for cables and pipes, shape openings in panels, and make precise adjustments in installation and hobby projects. It works with a 3.2 mm collet and has an approximate length of 65 mm.

For best control, it is recommended to work at high speeds and with a slow feed rate. When cutting, it is best to start the tool at an angle of about 45° and then raise it to 90°, as a clockwise motion helps ensure a more stable cut.
