The DeWalt DT5026 step drill is suitable for professional use for drilling in metal with a diameter range of 6 to 12 mm. The Split Point tip ensures effective drilling and a long service life. The drill bit's improved geometry features two flutes for chip evacuation. The dimensions are laser-engraved for improved visibility. The 6.35 mm hex shank ensures a secure hold in various types of chucks. Titanium coating for increased wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and up to twice the service life (compared to black oxide). The drill bit is part of Dewalt's Extreme Impact Series-suitable for use with impact drivers. Step drill bits produce cleaner holes because they gradually cut larger holes as they pass through the material. This method eliminates the need to switch between multiple drill bit sizes.
