The 18V LXT® high-power cordless fan jacket uses the same 18V lithium-ion slide-in batteries that power your power tools. The fan units provide airflow in the jacket for up to 11.25 hours of runtime on high setting when using a 5.0Ah LXT battery (BL1850, sold separately).

The fan jacket features silver reflective strips and a polyester shell for enhanced wind and water resistance. The fan housing has three airflow modes, so you can adjust the airflow according to working conditions. The additional turbo mode ensures optimal air circulation and effective cooling. This is the ideal solution for working in hot weather conditions, such as road workers and landscapers, those working in attics and crawl spaces, or anyone looking for cooling relief in hot workplace conditions.

The jacket features 5 pockets, including two zippered chest pockets with an opening that allows for the storage of mobile devices. Charge your portable electronic devices while wearing the jacket with the convenient built-in USB charging port.

The power source accepts Makita 18V LXT and CXT® lithium-ion batteries (sold separately) and powers two compact BL brushless fans located on the left and right sides of the jacket. The battery slides onto the power source, which features a built-in belt clip so it stays out of your way but within reach for quick and easy access. This is part of Makita's expanding 18V lithium-ion system, the world's largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion batteries. Makita 18V lithium-ion batteries have the fastest charging time in their class, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger.
