Bosch Box Level 1600A03AA6, 100 cm

The Bosch 1600A03AA6 is an aluminium box level with an overall length of 1000 mm. The body measures 50 mm high and 25 mm wide, and the accuracy stated by the manufacturer is 0.5 mm/m. It belongs to the Bosch Professional hand tool range, in which the same profile is offered in five lengths - 12, 40, 60, 100 and 180 cm. This size weighs 0.660 kg.

Rigid aluminium frame

The frame is drawn from aluminium and dimensioned to keep its shape through daily site work. The rectangular section gives a wide bearing surface, so the level sits steadily and does not rock while you read it. Both ends are closed with impact-resistant caps that absorb the shock of a drop and protect the ends of the profile from damage and corrosion.

Vials that read quickly

The liquid in the vials is UV-resistant, so the bubble keeps its contrast after long spells of outdoor work. The vial is read from the front and the profile is built for dual-site viewing - the reading stays available when the level is pressed against a wall, a beam or a frame and only one side is accessible.

When this particular size is the right one

The one-metre profile is the classic length for masonry, door frames and verticals. At 660 g it sits steadily on a course of bricks and gives a long enough bearing surface to reveal a deviation that a shorter level would miss.

Applications

The level is intended for checking horizontal and vertical alignment in finishing, installation and masonry work: setting door frames, fitting cabinets, brackets, radiators and sanitary ware, aligning tiles and courses of brickwork, and making a quick check on work already done. The tool is purely mechanical - no batteries, no calibration, nothing to switch on.
